All modern cars now have the infrastructure for a correct diagnosis. Diagnosis in cars is necessary and helps the technician to repair the fault. The most important results of the diagnosis are the safety of the passengers, the good operation of the electronic systems and the facilitation of the workshop in case of repair.

New cars have more and more electronically controlled systems. This while creating some better conditions in driving at the same time raises the bar of infrastructure for car repair shops. For the above systems, a diagnosis is required for fast and accurate treatment of the problems that arise.

The control of the operation of the individual systems in a vehicle, automatically means the self-control and the recording of the faults, which occur in a system. This can happen at three different times, starting the system with self-test, operating in the same way, and shutting down the engine if there is control.

The systems brains have one or two fault storage memories that can be read by the diagnostic device and then the technician can proceed with the repair.

Also a new era in the field of diagnosis begins with E-OBD. With the E-OBD diagnosis we can diagnose all construction vehicles from 2000 and newer.

The E-OBD (European On board diagnostics) system, ie diagnostic test on the car, refers to the directive of the European Union, according to which all car manufacturers in Europe are obliged to have a common control system (starting from 1/1/2001 for petrol passenger cars, extending to 2005 and for diesel and LPG) for those vehicle systems only which are directly or indirectly involved / connected to the vehicle’s emission behavior.
